Just like you, Dada grew up speaking two languages: German and English. Just like you, Dada was born in the U.S. and is a U.S. citizen. (1) Oma and Opa immigrated into the U.S. in 1953. Dada was born in the U.S. in 1957.
(2) Dada moved to Minneapolis in 1983. Mari was born in 1989 in Minneapolis. Ema was born in 1990, also in Minneapolis.
(3) Dada moved with both of you to Japan in 1992, he and you lived there until November, 1995.

(4) Dada has visited Japan over 12 times since 1995 hoping to see you.
